Sometimes we think of ourselves as on a search, a search for God. Yet to tell the story of our faith in a more biblical way, we would have to say that Jesus is on a search for us! He comes to us, often at the most surprising and inopportune of times, often in the strangest or most ordinary of places. He comes to us, speaks to us, and in the encounter, initiated by him, we are saved.
